PDDM PH-TW-HK: On the fourth Sunday of Easter also known as Good Shepherd Sunday (May 12, 2019), our Divine Master confirmed the final “YES” of Sr. M. Josephine Tanate.
Before the faithful and the Sisters in the Province, she made her profession of perpetual vows in the Eucharistic Celebration which was presided by His Excellency, the Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, Bishop of the Diocese of Kabankalan. The parishioners of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Aguisan, Negros Occidental were overflowing as they joyfully witnessed this rite being done in their parish for the first time. The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Carlos Ybesate, welcomed us with warmth hospitality and had given us the opportunity to make our vocation promotion during the Holy Masses in the morning of Sunday. It was also an opportune time for us to make known to them the beauty of our religious vocation.
In his homily, Bishop Louie reminded us about the “fondness of God to us” that despite our frailty, God is continuously calling us to belong to Him. He also encouraged the faithful to pray for Sr. M. Josephine and all those called to live the vocation in priestly and religious life.
Sr.M. Josephine also expressed her gratitude to all, especially to her family and friends, to the Pauline family and to every one who in their little way collaborated in making such celebration a joyful and fruitful one.
