Council of the Istute
The Council of the Institute is a consultative body consisting of the Superiors of the Circumscriptions and the General Government gathered to consider topics of greater importance for the Congregation in a synodal manner and to evaluate the implementation of the Guidelines for Action of the General Chapter.
The chosen theme evokes the search of the disciples for Jesus their Master, who was crucified and buried (cf Jn 20:1), as a fundamental attitude of hope and faith in a love which goes beyond death and binds them to the young Rabbi of Nazareth. He clearly defined himself: “I am the way, the truth and the life” to the confused and frightened disciples who asked for some indication regarding the desti-ny that awaited them and the definitive communion that Jesus presented to them: “so that where I am you also may be” (cf Jn 14:1-11).
La proposta grafica del logo vuole rappresentare il tema scelto per il Consiglio d’Istituto: “Di buon mattino, quando era ancora buio…” (cf. Gv 20,1). La strada che si apre davanti a noi invita tutte a intraprendere questo cammino, ancora nel buio, ma decisamente verso la luce del mattino di Pasqua, il Signore Risorto.
“I invite all of the communities, the young women in formation, together with the Friends of the Divine Master, to unite in prayer during this time of preparation and for that of the cele-bration.
I would suggest that we adopt as the prayer for the Congregation the one found in the prayerbook of the Pauline Family: To the Most Holy Trinity, so that this event may be lived for the praise and glory of God and obtain peace for humanity.”
