From December 27-29, 2017, our community of Camarate (Portugal) opened its doors to welcome young people who accepted the challenge to “connect to the Word”.
This connection is begun with the Creation, passing through the most significant stages of Salvation History until the Incarnation of the Word, through various games and activities.
Everyone is challenged to discover the presence of God in the Word, in the Eucharist, in prayer and in the building of fraternity.
From December 31 – January 1, the sisters of the Delegation of Portugal were gathered for an assembly.
The work was introduced by the sharing of Father Abilio Pina Ribeiro (a Claretian priest) on the document “New Wineskins for New Wine” of the CIVCSVA.
The second part of the gathering was conducted by Sr. M. Natalia who, referring back to the 9th General Chapter, guided us in reflections and sharing on the challenges to be faced in our present reality, attentive to the signs of the times and, in docility and openness to the voice of the Church and of the Holy Spirit.
Also the night adoration in the passage of one year to the next was a privileged moment to remain with the Master and gaze upon humanity through his heart.
